In 1979 the industry was in a stage of growth, new technologies were emerging and before this opportunity for the automotive industry, is that GRUPO CONDUMEX decided to create a project based on the need to manufacture flexible cables for automotive electrical harnesses, being this, the largest industrial consortium in the manufacture of electrical conductors in the country.
Thus, on December 26, 1980, CORDAFLEX S.A. de C.V. was officially born with this great project, starting operations in the municipality of Villa Corregidora in the state of Querétaro.
